Bird Cohabitation is an ongoing project where I have created ceramic bird nests tailored to the Barn Swallow and Eastern Phoebe. They are hung in and outside of barns and other outbuildings of residents in the towns of Sharon and South Royalton Vermont. Another location I have installed them is at VINS (Vermont Institute of Natural Sciences) in Queechee Vermont. This is an attempt to increase the number of insectivores to help offset the demise of the Little Brown Bat population that has been greatly reduced due to a devastating fungal disease known as White Nose Syndrome. https://www.nps.gov/articles/what-is-white-nose-syndrome.htm
